How to apply for a property

 

Viewings

Each listing includes the contact details. Book an appointment to view the property and check that it meets your expectations.

 

Forms

Download the form matching the property's regime — indicated in the listing. It forms the first part of your file, to be completed with the documents listed below.

Required documents

When submitting your application, attach to your Rental Application a copy of the extract from the debt enforcement register.

If your application is selected, our Letting team will request the following supporting documents, in line with the recommendations of the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) :

  • Copy of a valid identity document (passport or ID card) for Swiss nationals
  • Copy of a valid residence permit for foreign nationals
  • Last 3 pay slips or any document confirming your income
  • Original extract from the debt enforcement register (valid for max. 3 months)
  • Personal liability insurance certificate

 

Please note

  • Incomplete files cannot be processed
  • The agency does not make photocopies
  • With your consent, our Letting team may contact your employer and/or current landlord to verify the information provided

Submitting your application

Once your file is complete, send it to the Rosset agency in the canton where the property is located.

Good to know

Upon signing a lease, a flat fee of CHF 200.– is charged as application fees for an apartment or villa (nameplate costs included), or CHF 80.– for a stand-alone parking space or any other property (premises, storage).

In the event of withdrawal after written allocation of the property, a fee of CHF 200.– is charged to cover the costs of preparing the file and the lease.

The rental application is valid only for the property mentioned and has no contractual value.

If your application is not selected, your file can be collected from our offices within 30 days following the date the property is re-let. After this period, the documents provided are destroyed.

The signatory certifies having visited the property, provided accurate and complete information, and accepts the conditions above.

By signing the form, you confirm that you have provided your personal data freely and voluntarily for your rental application. This data is processed solely for that purpose and in accordance with applicable legislation.

As part of the review of your application, you authorise the sharing of your application with the owner or their representative, as well as the request for information from third parties.
